Award winning Esthetician Taralyn (Philly Style Magazine Best of Style Esthetician 2022) began her career over 20 years ago in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist and a licensed esthetician in PA and NJ. After battling adult acne her passion and love for skincare grew. She wanted to be able to help others fix their skin so that they could feel more comfortable in their own skin. So she followed her dream and finished Rizzieri Aveda School at the top of the class, with the highest GPA.
Taralyn has worked at top spas including Rescue Spa & Virtua Hospital's VirTu Spa where she was lead esthetician. She opened Nirvana in August 2020 where she has going the extra mile to build a well curated skin team and services to help clients achieve their skin and radiate inside and out.
She loves what she does and believes that furthering education and knowledge is paramount. You can find her attending skincare seminars and classes regularly. Taralyn is also a healer. As a level 2 Reiki that is Oncology skincare certified she is able to offer a relaxing and soothing treatment with a mix of medical esthetics to help you achieve your skin goals.
Recently, she felt the need to help her clients on a deeper level so she enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a Integrative Health Coach & Hormone Health specialist to help her clients on the inside and out.

has a passion for skincare that started when she was very young. Along her journey of learning about taking care of her own skin, she discovered she wanted to help others achieve their skincare goals just as she did.
After she graduated from the University of Delaware with her bachelor's degree, she studied esthetics at Jean Madeline Aveda Institute diving deeper into skincare. Sharlie values education because there is always more to learn. Furthering her education in skincare allows her to help clients in various aspects. She continues her education by learning about skincare ingredients, new products, innovations, and more.
In addition to focusing on what you put on your skin and the importance of facial treatments, she focuses on how what you put into your body is important as well. Self-care goes hand and hand with skincare. She loves creating an environment where her clients can relax and unwind while receiving rejuvenating treatments.

RIVERA
Licensed Esthetician
is a Philadelphia native who received her license in esthetics in 2015 from PCI Academy in Ames, IA. She got into esthetics because she was struggling with her own acne management and wanted to learn how to better treat her skin conditions. While in school, Liz grew to love helping others accomplish their skin goals and be a part of their journey toward falling back in love with themselves.
Liz is a recent graduate of Montgomery County Community College, where she received her AS in Public Health. She is continuing her studies at West Chester University to obtain a BS in Public Health with the goal of ultimately obtaining an MS in Public Health from their accelerated program. Liz believes that all areas of wellness are connected, which drives her passion for this work. She hopes to be able to coach her clients and eventually organizations through making these links, and ultimately making better choices from a holistic standpoint with a new perspective.
As far as service styles are concerned, Liz’s approach is to listen first to the concerns of her clients. She then uses her knowledge and years of experience while working collaboratively with the client to figure out a plan of approach for their concerns. And most importantly, to create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility where they can relax and trust that they are in good hands throughout the process. Anyone who has ever been serviced by Liz makes sure to request to see her again when they return, which they always do.

Licensed Esthetician / Licensed Massage Therapist
Ann’s skincare journey began as a Licensed Aesthetician in 2012, and soon after she became Laser Certified in 2013. Her specialties include custom acne treatments where she likes to work closely with each client to find the root cause of their breakouts, guiding them every step of the way. While acne is her specialty, she enjoys “solving the skincare puzzle” for all skin types. In addition to aesthetics, Ann has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2018. She recently became a Certified Reiki Master in 2021 and enjoys helping others in their healing journey. Ann is passionate about her work and always looking for new modalities to add to her toolbelt to help better serve her community.

is a graduate of Jean Madeline, Aveda Institute. She is a highly proficient, trustworthy licensed Esthetician with over 12 years of success in the beauty industry. She first started off as a cosmetologist and led her way to becoming an esthetician in 2018. She went from selling make-up products and working in the salon as a mixologist, to caring for people's skin. Lauren has always had a love and passion for skin care and studied different knowledge of all products and lines, she continues on her journey in hopes of helping people feel beautiful inside and out and confident.

Licensed Massage Therapist
is a highly skilled massage therapist with over 25 years of experience who has worked at top spas in the city including Toppers and Rescue Spa. She won "Best Massage” for “philly.com Readers’ Choice Award in 2017. Her certifications feature therapeutic, prenatal, medical, myofascial, and sports-style massage, accompanied by hot stone, gua sha, and cupping techniques. Colleen describes herself as having an “intuitive approach” when assessing a client’s posture and needs. This gift helps guide her to listen to her client’s body in regard to what is needed versus what is apparently painful. She is a dedicated and gifted massage therapist; whose goal is to help each of her client relax and feel better.

has been practicing massage therapy since 2003, and is licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Using techniques ranging from neuromuscular therapy to relaxation Swedish, Leah focuses on target areas to maximize her client's time on the table.
She specializes in prenatal massage, and massage for people impacted by cancer, neurological injuries, and other health concerns that massage is known to benefit. Throughout her career, she has found a niche in serving those who experience pain from activity, work, trauma, or from illness.
Leah is available 2 Sundays a month.

I'm certified in Deep tissue Integrated massage, Swedish massage, foot reflexology, and Reiki. I am also trained in Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Deep tissue, Swedish, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Polarity, Seated chair massage, Pre-natal massage, Gua-sha, & Active isolated stretching. I had a private practice for 28 years in Center City Philadelphia until 2020 and I've been doing Massage and Bodywork therapy for 30 years.
My work incorporates an effective combination of natural healing techniques that I customize for you. The natural techniques that I use work with your body's ability to heal itself.
My purpose for becoming a licensed practitioner is to offer quality service, education, and support for healing and self-mastery. My mission is also to promote awareness of wellness, health, and healing, and our responsibility for it in our lives.

is a Philadelphia native who spent most summers in Greensboro, North Carolina. She prides herself on having the perfect blend of city and country attributes. At 13 her Great-grandmother had a talk with her she'd never forget. Aminah found out about native American roots that started in the state of Virginia and also her maternal "gifts", passed down through that bloodline.
Aminah's massage style is one of therapeutic and warm energetic touch. She specializes in Swedish massage with the intention of aiding in relaxing the mind and body. Which she believes aids in healing the soul. Her genuine, caring, and attentive demeanor will ensure that her clients feel comfortable, safe, and otherworldly relaxed every massage session.
While attending massage therapy school Aminah became Reiki II certified and knew reiki needed to be an option to incorporate with massage. After becoming a licensed massage therapist in 2019. She was ready to start her career as a healer.

Licensed Massage Therapist
has been practicing massage since 2017. She melds her yoga experience and love of anatomy with an intuitive and supportive approach to bodywork. She is currently studying Craniosacral therapy and Reiki in order to deepen her understanding of each client’s needs and help them achieve their wellness goals.

graduated from Holy Family University with a bachelor's degree in 2016. Shortly after graduating, she landed a job at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Spending 3 years as a floor nurse and 1-year educating staff as the Clinical Nurse Expert. Francesca took a step back from her position at CHOP to focus on her career in aesthetics full-time.
Francesca’s persistence and eye for detail allow her to enhance one’s beauty by enabling one to age gracefully and confidently while maintaining a natural look. Francesca constantly expands her skills and knowledge by keeping up with the newest products, techniques, and technology always to provide the best care and outcome. She strives by helping people navigate their way through a healthier and more positive lifestyle with nutrients, body movement, skincare, and most importantly, daily SPF!

Aesthetic Nurse, BSN, RN
graduated Cum Laude from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and began her career in the Cardiac Care Unit at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. After struggling for years with acne and self-confidence, she began her own health and wellness journey and shortly fell in love with Aesthetic Nursing.
Sophia continuously strives to help others and when she realized she could use her nursing skills and her relentless eye for detail to help others feel confident in their own skin, she knew expanding her career at Nirvana Wellness Med Spa is where she was meant to be. Sophia hopes to bring her scientific knowledge in nursing and passion for health and beauty into the ever-changing world of aesthetic medicine. Sophia is dedicated to continuing her education and keeping up with the evolving medical technology and techniques to bring to the treatment room. From providing the human body with essential vitamins and minerals to empowering individuals to re-discover their self-confidence, Sophia will always give you her full attention while sitting in her chair.
Aside from Aesthetic Nursing, you can find Sophia using her detail-oriented and outgoing personality in the world of social media and interior/graphic design. She also enjoys spending her free time in the gym and with family and friends.

JORDAN WEISS
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner MSN, CRNP
graduated from The University Of Pennsylvania with a master's degree in Nursing (MSN). She started her career as a Nurse Practitioner working in the Cardio Thoracic Intensive Care Unit and currently is working in the Cardiology Department at Penn Medicine. She most recently decided to pursue her journey in the aesthetics world and became a certified injector by training with Aesthetic Medical Education Training (AMET) Jordan has a passion for wellness and aesthetics with a particular interest in injectables. At Nirvana Wellness med Spa, she aims to establish longitudinal relationships with her clients in which she can help them understand and achieve their goals for ongoing preventative health, confidence, and beauty.
AMBER SEMANCHYK
Aesthetic Nurse BSN
used her constant struggle with skin issues as an adolescent to motivate her to obtain the knowledge needed to help herself as well as others feel beautiful in their own skin and pursue a career as a nurse injector!
She worked hard to obtain her BSN and necessary training and has been in aesthetics as a nurse injector for a year and a half now. Amber has a true passion for learning, she is currently pursuing a master's degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner while simultaneously attending aesthetic training and working as a women's and children’s health RN at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She has extensive experience in pediatrics & medical-surgical nursing, which has made her very comfortable in the treatment room. Amber's passion combined with her experience translates to a great patient experience.

After earning her bachelor's in the Science of Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University, Victoria began working as a nurse and loved patient contact, but she wanted to make an impact in a different way. She has a passion for educating clients and providing them with the information needed to make the best treatment plan for them. She enjoys helping clients feel more confident in their own skin & address their areas of concern. Victoria specializes in neurotoxin treatments and is a big supporter of preventative care in order to maintain a youthful look. Victoria continues to stay in the know for all things aesthetic by keeping up with the latest trends and learning about different & new techniques. At this time, Victoria still works in the labor and delivery department in the hospital setting as well, using her compassion & love for educating to provide the most competent care.

Studio Manager, Licensed Cosmetologist
is a PA Licensed Cosmetologist and Esthetician since 2012. She was trained at Jolie Health & Beauty Academy in Northeast Pennsylvania, graduating with honors. She moved to Philadelphia in 2014 for better career opportunities and since then has taken the beauty industry by storm. Since residing in Philadelphia, Kat was a stylist and manager of a blow dry bar in Center City for many years before joining the Nirvana Beauty team.
Kat’s passion is hair styling. She is exceptionally skilled in formal hair styling, and weddings/events, She has worked behind the scenes of beauty pageants, music videos & photoshoots. She considers herself a “Blow Dry Expert '' due to her extensive work and her many years of working in a blow dry. Certified in Tape-in extensions and Keratin treatments, Kat is certain that she can turn your dream hairstyle into reality.

Licensed Esthetician, Makeup Artist
is a licensed esthetician with 10 years of experience doing makeup. She is a professional bridal MUA who has the ability to customize looks for her clients whether it be natural, full glam or in between. She has worked on various clients with all different skin tones. Nyasia wants for her brides and clients to feel comfortable in her chair. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing the confidence makeup gives her clients. Nyasia is available for various on-site and in studio make-up needs, including bridal and wedding parties, special occasions and photo shoots. Nyasia loves learning new things, being inspired, and creative people. She takes pride in creating beautiful work, and hopes she can be fortunate enough to do what she Ioves for the rest of her life.

has been in the nail industry for 6 years now. At the start of her career, she openly admits her work could have been done by anyone the way she did, but with discipline and dedication, she has built a name for herself in cosmetology. Her passion for nail art started at a young age, one thing she used to do as a child that lead up to her present work, was glue paper nail cutouts to pretend she had nail extensions on. Thanking God first, with Linda’s strive, effort, and discipline to study what she loves her career as a nail tech took off. She is certified by Valentino Pure, Mia Secret and Antartyc Nails by Leon Cabrial, and more to ensure she is always offering the best quality. One of the things she is most passionate about is seeing how she transforms damaged nails into healthy, beautiful, and delicate nails! She’s always pushing herself to be a better nail tech and to always exceed the best for her clients. Every day she is ready to give her best and learn new techniques and trends to be up to date for her clients.
